However, about 40% of the requests I get require me to ask for more information or point out that a single person isn't a family etc., so please ensure that you are not one of this 40%.

I offer this service free, so please use a bit of sense when asking for a link:

  1. Please do not try to point your link at a page which offers commercial services etc.
  2. A single person does not constitute a Yorkshire family, - please use the Yorkshire surnames interest list (which you might like to do in addition).
  3. Please make sure that the link you give points to the Yorkshire Family and not (for instance) your American family tree which has somewhere within it a Yorkshire family. I am not going to go digging around your website to find the Yorkshire family as I do not have the time to go looking for information that you should have given me below.
